What our clients say about us

Edward

Peter has tutored my two kids and I since before covid. We are now each on our grade 5.

Peter is professional, methodical, rigerous, comprehensive, enjoyable and fun. He works equally as well online as in person and I would happily recommend him to a beginner or an advanced musician alike.

Tillie

I signed my daughter up to London Arts Academy of Music with Peter in 2021. She has since completed 4 musical grades, all resulting in either a Distinction or Merit.

Peter is firm, patient, professional but fun, he always arrives with an upbeat, joyful and can do attitude. He pushes to achieve excellence but in a way that feels comfortable and achievable. He brings out the best in my daughter every lesson. Peter is an amazing influence and teacher, my daughter adores him.

We are incredibly happy with his teaching style, and outcomes.  We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher.

Kelly

We joined the London Arts Academy of Music in 2019. Peter is one of the best tutors we want to recommend to everybody. He is such a professional musician as well as a tutor expert, who is always encouraging and supportive. His way of teaching is fun, gentle, and patient. My son really enjoys learning with him.

Benefits of Music Education

Benefits of Music Education

Music is a form of entertainment. However, it's not only fun. It also has a countless amount of other benefits, such as:
Helping the brain to develop, releasing stress, building confidence, teaching to focus and the discipline, giving a space for self expression, improving concentration as well as creativity and many more.

Children learning how to play a musical instrument also improve their life skills. They learn about setting a goal and working hard in order to achieve it. It boosts their self-esteem once they do and makes them excited to repeat their success with a different challenge.

Studying music also builds empathy, and helps people better express their emotions and manage anxiety.

Music also keeps your mind sharp, reducing the chances of developing Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Besides all of that, taking music lessons, you can learn your favorite songs and show your new skills in front of your family and friends

The other benefit for children who are going to attend Universities in the UK - having certificates and qualification from graded ABRSM exams, gives them UCAS points that count towards the application process and presents them with a bigger chance of getting in their dream University!
